Speak the Language

‘Speaking the Language’ means they understand the terms and concepts in a way that demonstrates they are a fairly informed buyer.

As an example, an uninformed shopper for a flat screen TV needs to first learn some rudimentary terms for they can wade through the options. A shopper who ‘speaks the language’ will be able to discern the benefits and drawbacks of various options.
